| "My Chocolate Bunny", a 2008 Easter tribute, was so aptly named by Jessica. Bunny was drawn freehand on the monk's cloth, as are all of my rugs. The background is a beautiful teal blue. Rug measures 12" x 13". |
| "Jug with Flowers" rug, my version of still-life, measures 12" x 16". It turned out so much prettier than I first envisioned it. I am very pleased with how the black background really highlights the flowers. |
| All of my hooked rugs are worked with 1/4" wide wool strips on Monk's cloth. I draw out my original designs freehand and work primarily with "recycled" wools. Hooking seems to be taking away a great deal of my quilting time, but I don't seem to mind.... |
